List of Approved ICH CAHPS Survey Vendors Now Available

A list of CMS-approved ICH CAHPS Survey vendors is available by clicking the “Approved Survey Vendors” link in the Quick Links box on the left side of the home page or by clicking the “Approved Survey Vendors” link under the General Information tab on this website.

In-center hemodialysis (ICH) facilities should note the following.

• As per the ESRD Prospective Payment System Final Rule for calendar year (CY) 2014, ICH facilities must select and contract with a CMS-approved ICH CAHPS Survey vendor to administer the ICH CAHPS Survey on their behalf in CY2014 and in subsequent years.
• The deadline for survey vendors to submit an application to become a CMS-approved ICH CAHPS Survey vendor is April 30, 2014. The ICH CAHPS Coordination Team will update the list of approved vendors as soon as additional survey vendors have been granted approval. A final list of survey vendors that are approved to administer the CY2014 ICH CAHPS Survey will be posted on this website in May 2014.
• After selecting and contracting with one of the CMS-approved survey vendors to administer the ICH CAHPS Survey on its behalf, each ICH facility must complete the online “Authorize a Vendor” Form, which will be available on the ICH CAHPS website on or before April 4, 2014.
