2016 Introduction to the In-Center Hemodialysis CAHPS Survey Webinar Training Session

The 2016 Introduction to the In-Center Hemodialysis CAHPS (ICH CAHPS) Survey Webinar training session will be held on February 10, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time (ET). Registration for this training session will available on the ICH CAHPS website on December 22, 2016 and will close at 9:00 PM ET on February 2, 2016.

Approved ICH CAHPS Vendors

Please note that the ICH CAHPS Coordination Team strongly encourages approved ICH CAHPS Survey vendors with new ICH CAHPS staff to attend this Introduction Training session. The vendor’s Survey Administrator should click on the training registration link on the Vendor Dashboard to register to attend the Introduction to the ICH CAHPS Survey Webinar Training Session.

 

New Vendors Interested in Becoming an Approved ICH CAHPS Survey Vendor

Organizations seeking to become a CMS-approved ICH CAHPS Survey vendor must meet a set of minimum business requirements, which are available here. In addition, all organizations seeking to become an approved ICH CAHPS Survey vendor must designate a staff member to serve as its ICH CAHPS Survey Administrator. The organization’s designated ICH CAHPS Survey Administrator must register for and attend the Introduction to the ICH CAHPS Survey Webinar Training Session. To register for the Introduction to the ICH CAHPS Webinar Training Session, the vendor’s designated Survey Administrator must do the following.

  • Complete the online Vendor Registration form on the ICH CAHPS Survey Website. As part of the registration process, you will be asked to create a username and password to be used for accessing the private links on the ICH CAHPS website.
  • Click on the training registration link, which is on the Vendor Dashboard, to register to attend the Introduction to the ICH CAHPS Survey Webinar Training Session.
  • After attending the Introduction to the ICH CAHPS Webinar Training Session, the vendor’s designated Survey Administrator must successfully complete an online training certification.

In addition to attending the Introduction training session, organizations interested in becoming approved ICH CAHPS Survey vendors must complete the following tasks:

  • Complete and submit the ICH CAHPS Vendor Application. Please send an e-mail message the ICH CAHPS Coordination Team at ichcahps@rti.org if you are interested in completing the Vendor Application.
  • Print, complete, notarize and mail the ICH CAHPS Survey Administrator Consent Form to the ICH CAHPS Coordination Team at the address listed on the top of the form. The Consent Form will be available via your Vendor Dashboard once you have submitted the Vendor Application.
  • Complete and submit a Quality Assurance Plan within 6 weeks after the vendor's first semi-annual data submission.
  • All survey vendor applicants must agree to implement the ICH CAHPS Survey using standardized protocols and procedures described in the ICH CAHPS Survey Administration and Specifications Manual, which is available on the ICH CAHPS Website.
