Revised OMB Expiration Date on Mail Questionnaire for the 2020 Spring Survey Period

The ICH CAHPS Coordination Team is currently in the process of updating the ICH CAHPS Survey Administration and Specifications Manual, Version 8.0, and would like to give early notification to ICH CAHPS Survey vendors of the following change that will be made to the ICH CAHPS Survey mail questionnaire, in all approved languages:

• Starting with the 2020 Spring Survey cycle, the OMB expiration date (which is required to be printed under the stand-alone OMB number in the upper right-hand corner on the cover or first page of the mail questionnaire) should be revised to display as: “Expiration Date: December 31, 2022”.

• For reference, the current mail questionnaire displays this OMB expiration date as: “Expiration Date: February 29, 2020”.

All ICH CAHPS Survey vendors must make this change in their survey materials before the 2020 ICH CAHPS Spring Survey begins in April 2020. At this time, this is the only revision expected in the ICH CAHPS mail questionnaire; however, survey vendors will be notified should other changes be required.

The revised final ICH CAHPS Survey mail questionnaire in all approved languages will be made available on the ICH CAHPS website in early February 2020.
