Revised XML Schema File available for Vendors to Download

The Coordination Team has corrected an issue with the XML Schema File (XSD) that was posted on the ICH CAHPS website last week for vendors to use during the data submission practice period. The last response category for Q62b for telephone cases now has “NOT APPLICABLE…X” as an option. Survey vendors should download and use the revised XML Scheme File. The XML File Layout has also been revised to reflect the same change.

As a reminder, the data submission practice period is from now through January 5, 2015. ALL test XML files uploaded during this practice period will be removed from the ICH CAHPS Data Center on January 6, 2015. Vendors will receive a notification from the Coordination Team that the practice period has ended and that all test data files been removed from the Data Center. Survey vendors can begin submitting “real” ICH CAHPS XML data files on January 7, 2015.
