In-Center Hemodialysis Facility Participation in the ICH CAHPS Survey in CY2014

This announcement serves as a reminder that all ICH facilities that served 30 or more hemodialysis patients who meet survey eligibility criteria are required to contract with a CMS-approved survey vendor to administer the ICH CAHPS Survey on their behalf. ICH facilities should look at the number of patients treated thus far in CY2014 to determine whether they are required to administer the ICH CAHPS Survey in 2014. All such facilities should now be registered on the ICH CAHPS website. If your facility is required to participate and you have not yet registered on the website, please do so as soon as possible: https://ichcahps.org/ForFacilities/FacilityUserRegistration.aspx. In addition, all facilities required to administer the 2014 ICH CAHPS Survey are required to authorize their selected survey vendor no later than July 31, 2014. Sample files will not be distributed for your facility if a survey vendor has not been authorized via the ICH CAHPS website.
